Kits consisting of shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, and hand towel will be distributed in Haiti. Our goal was to contribute 100 kits. We collected 175 kits! Way to go Panthers!

Madison Teachers Honored

Mrs. Schweppe and Mrs. Buescher recently received the National Citizenship Education Teacher Award from the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Starting in 1999, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and its Ladies Auxiliary VFW have recognized teachers in Grades K-12 for their promotion of citizenship education in their classrooms with a national awards program. Since its inception the VFW has honored thousands of classroom teachers. Each state winner receives an award and one hundred dollars for the individual teacher's professional development.
Way to go Mrs. Schweppe and Mrs. Buescher!
